The GAC Emergency Evacuation Co-ordinator is Mr Lindsay Clyde. In his absence, the GAC Supervisor on duty assumes the role of Evacuation Co-ordinator. All staff are expected to follow the directions of the Evacuation Co-ordinator. GAC staff are encouraged to take control in emergency situations and delegate tasks to ensure that all priorities are met. In an emergency, there are decisions to make as there are several actions that need to take place immediately.

All GAC are expected to achieve the minimum requirement for First Aid – Apply First Aid as part of in-service training. Until this requirement is met the following applies:
- Commence CPR
No matter how minor and no matter if it affects a staff member, student, contractor or member of the public, all accidents, incidents, hazards and faults are reportable. |
