Swimming and Water Safety Lessons

Our Learn to Swim program incorporates principles from both the Royal Life Saving Society and Swim Australia curriculum. Progression through the Learn to Swim program is skill based. When all skill requirements are met, a final assessment will be conducted by our pool deck supervisor or senior staff member before the swimmer moves to the next level. We are constantly assessing the swimmers, therefore moving them when the skills required have been reached, even though it may be mid term.

Each child moving to a new level can ring our golden bell – the grandstands explode with cheering and clapping in encouragement for a job well done.

The Learn to Swim program begins with our carer and baby program followed by our Learn to Swim program then the squad levels. Clink the links below to find more information about these programs:

Feedback Week

Towards the end of each term we have feedback week. During this week parents/ caregivers have the opportunity to speak with their child’s instructor during the last 5 minutes of the lesson. Instructors will provide you with feedback and you can ask any questions you may have. If you require feedback at other times during the term please see the pool deck supervisor or our customer service team.

Re-booking Week

This is the week that you are able to re-book your child for the following term. It is always important to check with the pool deck supervisor or the office if your child has progressed to the next level so we can make sure they are re-booked into the correct class for the next term. Your child will already have a spot in the same lesson and will be secured once paid, please let us know if you do not wish to continue the following Term.
